The most effective sharing of knowledge often happens at an interpersonal level. Organising a meeting with groups or individuals you would like to inspire, inform or influence around issues of gender can be very effective if well planned.
World Food Programme staff in Cambodia led internal meetings with key members of staff and external meetings with strategic governmental partners to share findings from research they had commissioned about the gender dynamics of household decision-making. These sessions provoked discussion and debate around what it means to integrate gender into food security work and on the importance of a highly contextualised understanding and response.
